Tomorrow, Saturday, November 8, at 11:00 AM, a Eucharist will take place in the Cathedral, presided over by the Archbishop of Seville, José Ángel Sáiz Meneses, on the occasion of the 450th anniversary of the founding of the Hermandad del Museo. During the ceremony, the Cristo de la Expiración and the Virgen de las Aguas will be presented in a Stabat Mater, within a catechetical composition that has not been represented since 1921 and that the brotherhood describes as “an expression of prayer and remembrance.”
It should be noted that, fifty years ago, the images also arrived at the Cathedral to celebrate the four hundred years of its foundation.
Access will be through the Puertas de San Miguel and de Campanillas from 10:00 AM.

Later, at 5:30 PM, the processional departure of the Cristo de la Expiración and the Virgen de las Aguas will take place from the Puerta de los Palos, beginning the journey to its canonical seat and marking a historic day for the brotherhood and the city.
