Projecting History

For centuries, the heart of the city has been beating to the rhythm of the bells of the Giralda. Our Cathedral, the third largest Christian temple in the world, has been transforming as it has seen the city itself transform, as if it were a whole.

The religiosity of Seville, so particular and identifiable, is marked by the evolution of this monument that reflects its different cultures, styles, traditions and that reflect what is lived with faith in Seville today.

With ¨Projecting History¨ we show how the changes that the Cathedral has undergone are a true reflection of how the city and its faith have evolved from the Reconquest to the present. All this we tell you through a visual journey from the past to the present.
