Standards
The Cathedral is a sacred place, a World Heritage monument and the largest and most visible building in the city, which also welcomes hundreds of thousands of worshippers and visitors every year. Please keep these rules in mind to help maintain its splendor.
LITURGICAL ACTS
During the liturgical acts, it is not allowed the tourist visit inside the temple.
SECURITY
Prohibited access with objects that may constitute a risk to the health of visitors or the heritage.
SILENCE AND ATTIRE
Please keep quiet and dress decently, uncovering your head when entering the premises.
PHOTOGRAPHS
Photography without flash and without a tripod is permitted, as long as those in prayer are not disturbed.
CHILDREN
Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Running is not allowed in the Temple.
ANIMALS
Pets are not allowed on the premises, except in the case of guide dogs.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE
Drinking beverages (except water) and consuming food is prohibited throughout the premises.
MOBILE PHONE
Out of respect for those in prayer, please disconnect mobile phones.
NO SMOKING
Smoking is completely prohibited in the entire premises.
