IV ANDALUSIAN AWARD FOR BEST PRACTICES IN THE CARE OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES
ACCESSIBLE CITY
In recognition of the ongoing efforts of the Chapter to eliminate architectural barriers, on December 1, 2009, the Chapter of the Cathedral of Seville was honored with the IV Andalusian Award for Best Practices in the Care of Persons with Disabilities in the Accessible City category. This award was bestowed for the project “A Cathedral for All, A Cathedral without Barriers,” which has been developed continuously since 1993.
This award acknowledged the high-quality work carried out by the Cabildo Metropolitano in removing barriers that hinder the normal activities of individuals with reduced mobility.
Continuing in this commitment to be a Cathedral FOR ALL, we persist in our efforts with dedication and enthusiasm.
