This year the Cathedral will host the events of the feast of Saint Clement on November 24 instead of the traditional day 23, as it falls on a Sunday. The commemorative act of the recovery of the city of Seville for the Christian faith, which took place on November 23, 1248, is celebrated in the Cathedral with the following program:
8:15 AM: Mass of chaplains at the altar of the trascoro. Presided over by the chapter Arcediano, Francisco Ortiz Gómez, and concelebrated by the Royal chaplains.
At the end: Choral office with the office of readings and lauds.
Subsequently: Procession with the relic of Saint Clement and the sword of Saint Ferdinand. Participants include: the House of Castile and León, the chapter of Alfonso X the Wise, the Order of Saint Clement, the Chapter of the Cathedral, and the Municipal Corporation.
At the end of the procession, the Eucharist will be celebrated at the main altar.
