Marcelino Manzano previously performed the role of diocesan delegate to the press in 2013. He was born in Seville on 6 April, 1972, and there he was ordained as a priest on 16 September, 2001. In June of 2020, he was named canon of Seville Cathedral.
Currently, he is the Royal Chaplain for Their Excellencies the Chapter and spiritual director of Seville’s Metropolitan Seminary. Likewise, he is the diocesan delegate to the Hermandades and CofradÃas and ecclesiastical assistant to the General Council of Hermandades and CofradÃas. He is also a member of the presbyteral council and Chaplain of the Santa MarÃa de Jesús Chapel
Manzano was vicar of San Pedro Apóstol de Peñaflor and Santa MarÃa de las Huertas de la Puebla de los Infantes (2001-2004) as a recently ordained priest; parish priest of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción de Lora del RÃo (2004-2013); episcopal vicar of la Zona Norte and member of the Episcopal Council and the Council of Priests (2010-2013); diocesan delegate to the Press (2013-2014), and parish priest of San Vicente Mártir (2013-2018).
