The Cathedral hosts a Thanksgiving Mass for the 375th anniversary of the Hermandad del Rocío de Pilas

The Cathedral of Seville celebrates today, Saturday, May 2, 2026, the solemn closing of the commemorative events for the 375th Anniversary of the Simpecado Print of the Hermandad del Rocío de Pilas with a Thanksgiving Eucharist that will take place at 11:30 a.m. in the Retrochoir of the Cathedral, presided over by the Archbishop of Seville, Monsignor Saiz Meneses.

This celebration marks the culmination of an anniversary commemorating 375 years of the oldest print of the corporation’s Simpecado (dated between 1650 and 2025). For this reason, the historic insignia occupies a place of honor on the altar of the temple today for the veneration of the faithful during the liturgy.

The musical part of the Holy Mass is performed by the Rociero Choir of the Hermandad, the Philharmonic Society of Pilas, and the Cantares group.

In order to bring the celebration closer to the brothers and devotees who are unable to attend, a live broadcast will be offered through the following link:
