Due to the works being carried out inside the Giralda tower and following the instructions of the Security Department of Seville Cathedral, we wish to inform you of a temporary reduction in capacity and visitor traffic. Consequently, the access system and ticket office sales for groups have been modified, affecting both agencies and companies with guides as well as independent guides.
This measure aims to ensure rigorous and safe control of visitor flow, avoiding capacity saturation and optimizing security, especially at the entrances and in the Giralda tower itself.

Temporarily, a single authorized point will be set up for the sale of group tickets, located to the left as you enter through the Puerta del Lagarto (current online access); group entry will also take place through this same entrance in an orderly and controlled manner, under the supervision of the established security criteria.
While these measures are in effect, sales will only be permitted for one group of up to 30 people every 30 minutes, without exception for the same day. This means that in each half-hour slot, only a single group with this maximum limit may enter; groups from the ticket office cannot be accumulated or overlapped in the same time interval.
Likewise, during this period, El Salvador will not sell group tickets, and this management will be exclusively centralized at the point set up in the Cathedral. Furthermore, the number of ticket windows at San Cristóbal will be reduced for visitors who do not enter via guided tours.
At the time of purchase, the group must be fully organized and present; advance reservations for other days or times will not be permitted under any circumstances. If there is no availability in the requested time slot, the group must wait until the next available interval to proceed with the purchase of tickets and subsequent entry.
Group access will be carried out according to the established itinerary, compulsorily starting the visit at the Giralda tower, and respecting the assigned shifts, authorized capacity, and instructions from the security and access control staff at all times. These measures will be temporary and will remain in effect for the duration of the works on the Giralda tower, with an estimated duration of approximately two months, subject to adjustment depending on the progress of the work. With this regulation, the Cathedral Chapter aims to guarantee the safety of visitors, the correct organization of access flows, and the proper management of capacity during the period of intervention at the bell tower entrance.
We remind you that our cultural hours are extended on Saturdays from 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM for the “Gospel in Wood” visit (capacity limited to 200 people).
