Plan your visit to Seville Cathedral during high season: Ticket types, discounts, and free admission

Due to the high number of visitors expected this April and during the spring season, the Chapter of Seville Cathedral recommends planning your visit in advance. We would like to remind you that various ticket types, discounts, and free admission options are available for the Cultural Visit. Our commitment is to guarantee a high-quality experience and ensure an orderly flow of people within the temple.

The Cathedral offers different options for the Cultural Visit to the Cathedral, Giralda, and Church of El Salvador. This is the main tour that allows you to explore the naves, the treasury, the Patio de los Naranjos, climb the bell tower, and visit the Collegiate Church of the Divine Savior:

  • General admission: 13.00€ ONLINE / 14.00€ AT THE TICKET OFFICE
  • Reduced admission*: €7.00 ONLINE / €8.00 AT THE TICKET OFFICE: Pensioners over 65 years of age / Students up to 25 years of age / Disabled persons from 33% to 65%.
  • Adult from a large family: €7.00 (accreditation required) €7.00
  • Free Admission*: Residents of the Diocese of Sevilla / Children up to 13 years old accompanied by an adult / Persons with disabilities and one companion / Unemployed nationals.
  • Rooftop Visit: A guided tour of the temple’s rooftops to discover its architecture and enjoy unique panoramic views. (Requires a specific reservation and sells out quickly during these months).
  • Stained Glass Visit: A technical and artistic tour of the Cathedral’s exceptional collection of stained glass windows.

Free Admission and Social Commitment

The Cathedral maintains its firm commitment to citizens and the most vulnerable groups, offering free access to:

  • Natives or residents of the Archdiocese of Seville (city and province).
  • Minors up to and including 13 years of age (accompanied by an adult).
  • Unemployed persons (Spanish nationals).
  • Persons with a disability greater than 65% (with a free companion if necessary).

Free Sunday visit: Free access hours for the general public are maintained on Sundays from 14:30 h. to 18:00 h. (limited capacity). It is essential to obtain a ticket in advance through our official booking portal www.catedraldesevilla.es

Organ concerts at the Hospital de los Venerables Sacerdotes:

Enjoy an exclusive organ concert in one of the most relevant and hidden gems of Sevillian Baroque architecture.

‘De Profundis’: the tombs of the Archbishops of the Cathedral:

Seville Cathedral houses a remarkable collection of episcopal tombs, a heritage that reflects the importance of Sevillian prelates in the history of the Universal Church. This experience is enriched by live performances of sacred music. As a new feature, the tour includes a visit to the crypt of the archbishops in the Parish of the Sagrario.

Guided tour of the Cathedral Rooftops:

The rooftop tour is a journey through time, offering a unique opportunity to learn how the Cathedral was built between the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries. Explore the Cathedral from above, stroll along its rooftops, wander through its passages, and enjoy panoramic views of both the Cathedral’s architecture and its urban surroundings.

Guided tour of the Cathedral’s stained glass windows:

Explore the magnificent collection of stained glass windows in Seville Cathedral on an exciting guided tour through the history of who, how, when, and why they were created. This exceptional visit brings you closer to this art of light, shown like never before, through the interior of the temple and reaching heights of 25 m under the central nave. The visit includes the use of binoculars to see all the details of the stained glass.

Guided tour ‘Trace of the Sacred’: Crypt, Dressing Room, and Rooftops of the Church of El Salvador:

Don’t miss this unique tour that brings visitors closer to its unique sacred imprint, a living vestige of our own history. It is also a magnificent opportunity to see areas of the temple that are not usually accessible through guided tours lasting just over an hour and a half. Visitors will explore the Patio de los Naranjos, the crypt, the Camarín de la Virgen de las Aguas, and the roofs of El Salvador, in a perfect communion between past and present through an exciting journey through the different cultures that have coexisted in Seville and of which the Collegiate Church is a living trace.

Collegiate Church of the Divine Savior only:

Located on the site of the original Great Mosque of Seville. An example of Andalusian Baroque and the second largest temple in Seville after the Cathedral, its originality and uniqueness lie in the fact that it has been reused by Roman, Visigothic, Arab, and Christian cultures.

Important recommendations:

  1. Advance booking: Due to high demand in April and May, tickets for the most popular time slots often sell out. Please book in advance.
  2. Accreditation: To benefit from discounts or free admission, it is mandatory to present a valid original official document (ID card, student card, large family certificate, disability certificate, or proof of unemployment).
  3. Access: Entry control is conducted through the Puerta del Lagarto or the Puerta de San Cristóbal, depending on the type of ticket purchased.
